Default re-painting help needed
I have stripped the tank, side pieces and fenders off my 2000 650 Custom. My question is with the front fender. The brackets are pop riveted to the fender. Should I take these off or leave them. I'm concerned with flaking, etc. if I leave them on and there is an exposed edge along the perimeter of the rivets. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Also, any suggestions of paint and color (without graphics) would help. Thanks.
