|  Rust color dust on clutch cable housing The other day I took about an hour ride. When I got home, I was putting the bike in the barn, and looked down I saw this rust color looking like dust. I got to investigating and it was on the outside cover of where the clutch cable goes into the engine. I haven't had time to take off the cover but thought somebody might know what it is. Please advise if anyone has experienced this.

| It's... rust! Why the big mystery? Have you lubed the cable recently? Sometimes that makes corrosion more obvious because it lets it run out easier.
