Default Venture

I am the proud owner of a 1300 and am having fun doing stuff to it. Ive done a bunch so far, and am considering a fairing. My buddy said I should watch how much money I put into it and just buy a Venture. Any Venture owners out there or thoughts on the subject?

Default Venture

I went to the International Motorcycle show in NYC this past year and talked to a Star\Yamaha rep. He said that in either 2009 or 2010 that the Ventures were going to have a V-4 1900 and FI vs the current 1300 & carbs. Not that there is one thing wrong with the current Ventures I've heard good things about them but there are not so many out there because I believe alot of folk look at GoldWing too when it comes to a full dresser. Personally I'm waiting to see if the 1900's materialize then well, it'll be time to cash in all of those deposit cans and bottles...

Hey thanks for the input. I still like doing stuff to my 1300 and the size is right for me. I'm not a large guy, only 5-9, and I have wondered about riding a large bike all the time. I ride mine to work every day and just wonder about riding a much larger bike all the time. Like getting into tight places in parking lots, etc. Thanks again for your comments. Don
