| 2006 V Star 1100 Custom getting a lot of numbness with stock seat and looking for more cush for the tush. I've looked at the Mustangs and a couple of others. Something with a backrest would be great & not taking passengers so solo seats ok. Open for suggestions. |

| Saw your post. I have a V star 1300. I am fortunate to have one of the best seat builders there is right in my back yard, Redding, Ca. His name is Rick Meyer and he has a web site. I was able to make an appointment and he custom made the new seat for me and my wife. I bought a a lumbar support from Utopia and he incorporated that and recovered it for me. My wife says its a 100% better. If you can't ride to his location, by the way people come all over the western United States to have seats made, he will ask you for your measurements and photos of your back side. It is a great seat and the workmanship is excellent. Hope this helpful. Don |

| I was gone on vacation so didnt respond right away. You will have to contact him about the price. He charges less if you just give him your measurements and a picture. Go on line. His seat really helped. The lumbar support is also worth the bucks.

| Hey Bush, check out my post on making in yours. I used memory foam from a matress. It is 100 times better than stock, and you could use a memory foam pillow and it would not cost much at all. Remove the staples on back of seat with needle nose plyers, cut out a pattern, and cut strips thru the part to cut out and dig it out with you fingers, cut the foam twice as fat, because you will crush it down when you put cover back on. camps |
