| I am a newbie here so bear with me please. I am 6'3", drive an 04 V Star Classic and I need more leg room but would prefer NOT to add the bulky "highway bars". I am looking at some optional foot peg "extensions" that Kurjykan has Footpegs Page but the choices are confusing. My bottom line need is to be able to comfortably stretch out my legs when cruising the highway, don't want to be too high (my feet Any help would be appreciated. |

| When I bought mine it already had forward controls on it, but i thought i'd post a pic to show how simple it is. Mine's a custom, so not sure how it would relate to floorboards vs pegs, but maybe someone makes something similar for the floorboards.

| Take a look at Motorcycle Enhancements 4" extensions for floorboards and pegs. Put a set on mine. Made a big difference. I also reused an old highway bar that came with the bike when I bought it, but was useless for me. I cut it up and bolted it on the underside of my floorboard. Much more comfortable now with the extensions and my "privately fabricated" highway pegs.
