Lightbulb Fish tank air hose

Hi,
I have eventually fixed my tail light and stopped it from burning out every two weeks. I found out that the tail light lens was vibrating while riding, and even though it is totally independant of the bulb, the vibration it created caused the bulb to blow. I know they're only about R10.00 S.A but still!

I got a piece of fish tank air hose, about 20cm long, slit it down the length with a razorblade, pushed the lens up, filled the gap with super glue gel, fed the rubber hose in, trimmed up the excess, polished it up, and it works great! No more blown bulbs!

I'd like to thank everyone who helped in making this possible - the fish tank hose people, and the hardware store that sold me the super glue.

Ta
Dwayne

Its 106 miles to Chicago. We have a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, its dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

Hey, psycho, we're not getting back together. Now get out of my Van Halen t-shirt before you jinx the band and they break up.

The 11hp Beast is a Honda CGL 125. Metallic red. The paint is faster than the bike..
