Default Risk of ELECTRIC SHOCK

Never stick finger in plug socket and kick the engine over to see if there is spark and dont feel like taking your spark plug out...

Has anyone else ever coaxed someone near enough to a running lawnmower to grab them and then touch the spark plug wire? That's a good one!

True story of a misguided youth... when I was a kid and made all my money cutting neighbor's lawns, my dad bought me this piece o' crap push mower so I wouldn't wear out his Lawnboy. For you youngsters, this was back in the good ol' days when you didn't have all those safety features and could leave the thing running, sit on your butt for a minute and have a cold drink, and then go back to mowing without having to restart it. You could also refill the tank with it running wide open. Only way to turn that bastage off was this little spark interrupter deal. All I was told was it was that little metal blade above the spark plug, and that you pushed it down against the exposed tip of the plug... hold it there and it would interrupt the spark and kill the motor. Nobody told me to use my shoe or an insultated pliers or something. Noooo... I used my bare hand.

Muahaha, I want to try that lawnmower trick. Too bad we use an electric mower now... Not sure if it'd be wise to shock someone with it.

You haven't seen the first CKY video have you. Some of the guys from Viva La Bam do it. Raab will tell you electricity can pass through certain things the human body possesses.

Still, I'm not exactly itching to try it and disprove them.

If the voltage on the fence is high enough, the spark should be able to bridge any gap in the pee. Not sure how much voltage would be required for that. Most likely something in the "High Voltage" category, which I'm betting wouldn't be safe . . . even for an electric fence.
