Default A true addict!

Man am I addicted! Have I hit bottom to realize this? There is no cure that I know of? Never gave it any thought until this morning. I start having withdrawals after 2 days! Yep!

Two days in a row, and I need to ride again. Worse than that, if I go any where over night for any reason, the Gixxer is in tow! Holidays, family get aways, the Gixxer is always there!

Enough of this, gotta go ride The Crest this morning and some other twisties this afternoon!

May I just say:

Bite Me! :p

The days I could have ridden, I had other issues to deal with. The days I could ride (like today), it's raining like cows p!$$in' on flat rocks. Haven't been in the saddle since last Sunday.

Rain don't bother me too much, just the idiots that forget how to drive in it. My latest and greatest problem is that now that my wife is working again I don't have a babysitter so get to stay home with the kids. Really biting into my riding time!!!!

Sorry to hear that. Maybe we'll get some better weather here c50.
We rode for about 3 hours on Friday.

Weather cleared up nicely this afternoon... but about all I had time for was a quick run to the edge of town and back. Not exactly what I'm itchin' for. Supposed to be clearer tomorrow, though. [cross fingers]

I got a fast run in through the Santa Monica mountains, out to Malibu, up the coast(even the surfers were out), then inland through the mountains again. Just a little 5 hour blast in the local stuff here. Started raining just as I parked the Gixxer in the garage! Pics to follow.

Oh, a headlamp burned out so I stopped at Cycle Gear on the way home. Who do I see? The wife and all her family, Cristmas shopping! It's gonna be a good Christmas!

My bike was taken out of service about 3 weeks ago

Yesterday it was cool (upper 40s), but dry. I saw a few hard-core bikers out on the road. Then today, I was towing my girlfriend's horse up the Autobahn (80 kmh) when a shiny Harley V-ROD went blasting past. I won't be back on my bike for about another 4 months ..

I've only had my bike 2 days, and all my 6 miles have been in the parking lot here at the apartments. I hate this getting dark @ 5:30 crap.

5:30? Dude, your towards the western part of the Eastern time zone(zulu -5). I'm closer to the eastern part of Central time (zulu -6). Which means it's getting dark by 4:30, and is dark by 5:00 this time of year. Sucks.

Do not worry about your addiction, I share it too. Its been around the mid 40's here for the past two weeks and I have been out riding everyday. I just got back from a ride to and from Annapolis. Its about 40 degrees outside and I realize I need better gloves!
