|  Newbie's first bike, delima...
I'm about to get into riding and have narrowed by first bike purchase down to two used bikes in the area. The first is a 2003 V-Star Classic 650. It has 2000 miles and some custome work on it (drag pipes and paint). The other is a 2003 Harley Sportser 883 with about 13,000 miles on it with a bit of chrome. The Harley is about $800 more than the V-Star. What factors should I be considering regarding the two different bikes? What maintenance issues should I expect? What about resale a year or two down the road when it's time to upgrade? What bike to you guys recommend I go with? |
