Default 1st FLAT!

As I turned onto my street this morning (from my daily morning ride), I felt my rear wheel slightly shift. I knew immediately that something felt & sounded funny, kinda like running over a rock. So I continued down the street & into my driveway, dismounted my bike & there in clear view was a tiny screw pierced dead center of my rear tire. As I listened to the slow "hiss-ss-ss" I could only feel deeply hurt knowing that my Gixxer will be temporarily unop for a few days. This saddens & bothers me deeply .

I called the dealer only to find that the 180/55-17 dunlop 218 is not yet available for sale. I'm a stickler for uniformity & feel it's a must to find that tire somewhere online. So far, I've been unsuccessful.

Anyway, coulda been worse. Coulda been ridin' fast down the road while leaning across my tank w/my legs up & had a blowout !

Gotta find humor somehow 'cause right now I'm lookin' at $200 being spent. There goes my air filter & exhaust until next summer....unless I hit the lottery .
