  |  Wind is quite challenging
I never realized how windy the I-15 can be here in San Diego. I've been riding it to and from work for a few weeks now, and lately there have been cross-winds that really make me have to concentrate on keeping the bike in the lane. A couple friends (more experienced riders than myself) have said that newer bikes aren't quite as succeptible to being blown around as mine. I've got an 81 GS450-S, which is basically before the era of the "sportbike". Something about how the newer bikes are balanced helps keep em stable. Anyone have input on this? |
