After you looked out for urself of course, after you found yourself to be ok then help should be attented to the dog imo. Guess its just the kind of person i am : /

I am the world's biggest dog lover - have two moose-sized dogs at our house. I'd like to get hold of the lame-brained owner who let their dog run loose like that. Supposedly, they are supposed to be the one with some intelligence. Pet owners like that - what's the pet owner version of SQUID?!?

Sorry you had to pay such a high price for someone else's irresponsible behavior.

Me to, just hate to see the biker suffer, the bike and the poor dog bc some idiot didnt keep his or her dog locked up. Just thought of all the posts i would see someone asked about the poor dog who probably been suffering since then or is dead by now.

My G/F and I rented some horses and went for a ride on the beach. At one point, we had two dogs barking and circling the horses (and us) with no one around or apparently responsible for the dogs. Fortunately, we are both experienced riders, and the horses didn't get nervous. Sometimes, dogs are just plain stupid - the'll run around behind a horse and snap at the rear legs. They only do this once, though ... then the horse reminds the dog that those back legs can move *real* fast, and ususally have iron nailed underneath (just like hitting something when wearing brass knuckles). If the dog survives, it'll have ALOT more respect for the back end of a horse in the future.

Most gear is not needed unless you crash.

Or am I missing something?
