Hello everyone. Glad to see conversation happening here in this little thing I started

I have ridden my S50 only ONCE since the course, the only day I could take it to work this week actually, as I needed the cage for work purposes on the other days. I'm sure others may be in this situation also.

Hi there Michelle. GREAT on picking out a bike ahead of time. You sure selected a larger bike then I dared go! But, I am happy with my choice so far, and maybe someday think about that M109r !!!! Love that thing

Again, the S50 compared to the NightHawk 250, there is a big difference in a bike that has 4500 miles of course beating and a new larger bike. First thing I noticed was the tightness, the controls are not all wiggly (brake and clutches) and stuff like that. But, it did feel GREAT to get on the new Boulevard again.

Still have the new bags to mount on it AND the engine guard with foot pegs to go, but, those are going to have to be a rainy day project, just too much to do around the house on the better days weather wise at least. You home owners understand

Take care everyone, enjoy your bikes!

Respectfully,
Gary

Default Now, my License arrived TODAY! (6-26-2008)

I don't mind the hijack

Just to let you all know, the next step and happy results of the MSF course arrived in the mail today! YES, have the M=Motorcycle rating now added to my new driver's license. I have NEVER riden after dark, and now, I won't have to worry about being out past sundown

Happy times!

..........Gary

I'm still uneasy about riding in the dark. If i don't know the area I'm very uncomfortable with it. Or riding the dragon after 12 hours of driving at night. Odd considering I've almost got 10k miles under my belt. Oh well, maybe someday i'll get over it.
