Question Needed Advice

Hey fellow Enthusiast,

I have been on this board now for 2 weeks reading articles etc.; The issue I have is: I had an '99 R6 back in '02 it was my pride and joy for two years... until it was stolen from me *still haven't recovered*. I held off on purchasing another because of my mother and income was low; now I have graduated and make a real nice salary which would allow me to pick up another bike.
Once i decided i wanted one a have had numerous friends and family begging me not to; with the "its not you its other people" etc. So I started to rethink the whole ordeal... "should I still get it", "it so dangerous", "maybe i should leave it alone. Yet still, the desire burns deep.. as i am sure you all know.
Any advice I am really torn here.

Also, i am considering the '05-'06 1000RR or GSX-R750.. keep in mind i owned a bike since '04, but rode a Busa a few times??

Which one?

GSXR750 is the greatest motorcycle ever made.

Perfect size. Great power. Low wieght. Handles like a dream.

AND should be cheaper to insure than a literbike. (not much...)
