Default Motorcyclists all share a kind of comradery

I've noticed how riders always wave to each other as they (we) pass, always give a hello at stop lights, and just seem more aware of each other on the road. Anyone else notice that? I like it.

I also find myself watching for riders while I'm driving my car now. I was on the freeway yesterday in rush-hour traffic (goin about 20mph), and whenever a rider would come up behind me riding between lanes, I'd move the car over to give him more space. Each time, the rider waved a thankyou at me as he passed. I guess you have to be a rider to understand little things like that. Too bad more drivers aren't more aware of what's going on around them.
