Adjusting the geometry of a bike will make it handle like crap. i.e. extended swingarm

I often wondered if that would cause some issues with the bike. Seemed like it would and I am seeing more bikes lowered as well. I never understood these dramatic mods to a bike unless you where intending on drag racing or something. For the busa the center of gravity is right where the rider sits (which may be the same on most or all bikes), so if you extend the swing arm it would seem like you've inturn shifted the center of gravity for the bike.
I don't ever plan on doing it though..

busa-boy33 Dont let anyone here or any of your friends push you beyond your comfort zone. Ride where you are comfortable
Be safe and ride another day!!
just because some here have track experience or have been riding for years and can do a lot of things you cant, dont worrie about them or what they can do
Do what you want, Ride the way you want, I'm not saying dont try or dont learn new stuff, just dont try and do something that you feel will shorten your riding time.
Granted none of us know when our time maybe up, but be smart and live to ride another day.

there is some good info in this post about how to's and not to's and a lot of nice guy/gals here give good info
but it's your bike and your backside that has to pay the price if you mess up
not theirs, so ride the way you feel comfortable

also... if you want to learn more advanced techniques, you should look up taking an advanced course through a track day or something like it...

Near to me here we have the FAST riding school...
should be something in your area...

TechJD & womper

Thanks for the words there guys.. I appreciate them and agree totally with you about staying within my comfort zone.. I have already learned the hard way with a couple of close calls that the Busa will get away from you in hurry. So I have a new found respect for my level of riding and for the bike..

So thanks again guys
