Default So on the way to work this morning...

I was driving the bike in to work, its 45 miles 40 of which are highway. (just a little background there). So I have my MP3 player pumpin some tunes in my ears (important to the story as well). So I get on the highway, and since i was cleaning the bike last night, including windsccreen which i removed to wash (important) i had to move my mirrors to get a decent angel on the allen wrench to take off the bolts holding it on, no big deal. I move them back when i replace it and no biggie. So I'm driving to work today going 80 in the left lane, when I want to lower my mirror angle by a little bit... I accelerate to 90, pull the clutch in, take my hand off the gas and angle the mirror down a little (meanwhile rock is pouring into my ears from the MP3 player). I get it wheere i want it after like 2 seconds, and start releasing the clutch and giving it gas at the same time. Nothing happens... I look at my spedometer, notice i've done down to 66 mph when i let the clutch out, so i give it some more gas.. nothign happens.. i notice the RPM's are at 0.. then i notice my killswitch has been hit! So i must have hit that by accident, turned the bike off. So this all happened within abotu 7 seconds. Needless to say i pulled the clutch in hit the electric start button, and continued on my trip.

Moral of the story.. be extra careful when wearing an MP3 player while on a motorcycle.
