What do you think? The Royal Mounted Air Force? They fly horses? Sheesh, ask Uncle Bob or Louis.

Man, sidetrack my thread much?!?!?!?

Okay, it's all good. My daughter's 11 - in 6th grade, and also at a private school. It's not at all like boot camp, she loves it!

Okay, back to the thread hijacking.

I guess I've learned there *MAY* be a few folks here who have problems staying focused.............

May? Did I ever tell you about the time I was six and was on the farm chasing rabbits? Cool huh!

Wrong answer.
You live in the US.
You definitely work too much.
I have 32 days off + I don't have to work on saturdays and sundays.
Not counting holidays like Christmas etc.
Ah...I get paid as well

ciao, Janis

No ROTC as you know it but our military will send their soldiers ( both of them ) and officers to our regular universities if the courses are not covered in military schools.

I send my daughter to private school so she will be in an environnement condusive to learning and expanding her horizons rather than what soad seems to believe is the opposite.

By culling out the weaker students the others can have more attention from the teachers and staff. They also have access to the latest technology and have a lot of extras other than the basic curriculum.

She is learning to succeed !

The RCMP, Royal Canadian mounted police have their own training facility, they do have their own airplanes and helicopters but I don't believe they refer to themselves as a mounted air force.

Maybe you do. Us Military folk never know when we're going to have more than 2 days off at a time. I've been working for nearly 3 weeks straight now.

wait... the mounties are police!?! hmmmmm. you learn something new everyday. i thought they were actual cavlary. lol... no offense but imagine them in a high speed chase. oh and i have NO CLUE what private school is like, i go to a class c school that has 688 students so...yea. there is a catholic school across the street and thats as close to being in a private school i've ever been. so if she dont mind being in a private school, good for her. like i said before, i have no room to talk about them. but at least she has extra curriculms and technology! BTW whats technology? we run windows 95 on old pc's. BUT! we do got like 2 sizes worth of our high school being built on to it for the middle school. theres going to be alot of stuff that the high school people can use. like new computers and a huge library.

what do you think? NO IM NOT READY TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL!!!!!!! i aint even gone school shopping yet. quite frankly, i wore the same outfit about 4 days in a row, and all i wore this summer is a black muscle shirt and shorts. not the same pair though. if i lived anywhere where winter didnt affect me, i would wear it all the time. im going into the 10th grade.

If it's so easy, are you taking any advanced courses?
