ANY pair of boots are better than tennis shoes.

Check out the road rash my left boot took to save my foot.

I've got the Joe Rocket Orbits. I think they're excellent boots for cruisers. I haven't tried on the Meteors but from what they look like, they might be more suitable for sport bikes like what Rowdy said.

I guess I Just learned something new, I did not knew that there are cruiser boots and sports boot. I was always looking for a boot that does not have a bulgy front (like the safety boots) so that it would fit under the shifter and I knew that all motorcycle boots are stiffened so that the ankle is safe

Sorry I made a mistake, I bought an Alpinestar boot, the web gore-tex road boots, I guess I still have to break it in

My boots saved my foot on several occasions too. I have both cruising motorcycle boots for my regular rides and sports boots for tracks. No laces!! Dang, I have enough trouble putting my foot down.
