Didn't take the bike as they were forecasting thundershowers this afternoon, not just simple rain, thunder showers. You know what, it's now past 3 PM, the sky is STILL blue, still +30 Celsius.

Oh man Louis, trust your instincts. When the weather people say there is a 40% chance of rain, well? What it means is 4 out of 10 of them think it could rain!

When you get old enough all your battle wounds and bones will let you know when the weather is a changin! I trust my bad knee and a mess of other bones to forecast my local weather!

... people just dont give weather people a good chance anymore! ya know. in one weather forecast on your local news channel for the week, there are 4 billion mathmatical equasions! just wanted you guys to know that.

I'm not saying it's an exact science and of course there are lots of variables to take into account but it seems to me that as technology improves (better equipment, more powerful) that forecast would improve. It's not what I'm seeing.

Can't even predict two hours in advance anymore...

here is the easy way. if you see leaves tipped upward like a cup almost, its gonna rain.

I must admit... my local news station has their own doppler and the meteorologist (sp) predicted a tornado before it happend and 5 minutes before the National weather service said there was one.. needless to say it is the only channel i watch the weather on now... however I am tird of the 20% chance of rain EVERY DAY...
