Default found out what a faulty clutch cable feels like...

How did I figure this out? Mine broke...while I was in traffic I'm really glad I'm good at thinking quickly under pressure. I had to stall the bike out once to stop, and I had to lurch it to a start again by cranking the starter and throttling it up while it was stuck in 1st gear. That was quite a rush. So yea, I guess now I know that my clutch cable has been faulty, which explains why it's been rather stiff

For my own info, where did the break occur? Where should I be checking when I inspect my bike?

it broke down inside the black jacket. The metal wire just snapped. No way to look for that. Just check for a smoothly operating clutch. If the handle catches or sticks in any certain place, it might be due to a kink or beginning of a break in the cable.
