Default Custom Chopper experience

Friend of mine stopped by yesterday with his custom Chopper (think a mile long with a 300 back tire and 127cu motor). My 11year old and I had just got home from SCUBA class so I was in a sweat suit. We were shooting the bull and he rode my atv around. So I said hey I am going to take your bike for a lap.

Now keep in mind before you safety guys jump my a$$, I live in a very small town (500) out in the middle of nowhere. So I jump on the bike and go roaring down the street to the end of the subdivision. As I was going down one street past the local cops house he (the cop)flagged me over. Again shooting the bull when i smell something burning. I look down and say dude I have got to go.

SO I blast back to the house and pull in the drive. Freind comes up and said "that didnt last long why are you back?". I said come around to the right side of the bike. Well wouldnt you know it I had melted my sweatpants from the knee down all over his pipes. When I say melted I mean gone

So now I have a freind who is pissed that I messed up his pipes and I have a pissed wife because she just bought me the sweats two days ago.

Now I have to figure a way to get the mess off the pipes. So far, gas, lacquer thinner, and industial wipes have all failed. When I get back from Las Vegas (SEMA Show baby!) I told him I would figure it out or buy him some new pipes.

Oh well it was an awfully cool ride though!

This is a bad pic from my phone at the hooters bike show.
