Good point...about the environmental issues with using multiple chemicals.

Perhaps he should have just tossed a lit match onto it?

Actually, I'm pretty sure it is illegal to change your oil at home here. If I dropped 5 liters of oil onto my driveway, I would call the fire department (and I am a volunteer firefighter) to come throw some oil binder (cat litter) down and then take the whole mess to the refinery to be discarded properly.

I have changed the oil of my bike (we do have a barrel to recycle oil in our town), but I prefer to let the mechanic do it. Buring my hands on the pipes while trying to loosen that damn oil filter isn't fun. I know how to do it - this doesn't mean that I have to do it.

Paint isn't going to do much good as it won't stick on the oil spill until it is properly cleaned anyway. I would check out somewhere that sells paints though as I'm sure that they will have something to clean concrete. Good luck.

This can happen with Chlorine tablets and anti freeze as well. Extremely Volatile. Back when I managed autozones, some teen agers came in and bought a gallon of anti freeze, about 10 mins later I heard an explosion in the wash out back and ran out to see what it was.

Turns out, they had an old fire extinguisher, the kind where you'd turn it over and the soda would mix and cause the liquid to spray out, anyway, they had the shell of that, had filled it with AF then dropped a chlorine tablet in it, instant explosion, decapitated one kid and the other had severe shrapnel wouunds...

That sounds like a swell idea to remove a driveway.

Safejohn, we've got a TEST forum just for that kind of thing ... go to the forum index and look near the bottom of the page.

I thought that was where you go to take the test! Obviously I have never been in there!

SOOOOOO.................How can I clean up 5 quarts of tranny fluid in the driveway...I have tried everything short of painting over it..............

YEAH YEAH...............IT CAME TO MY ATTENTION THAT I SCREWED UP THE TITLE " ALWAYS CHANGE YOUR OIL............"
THERE, SEMI FIXED...THANK YOU DOUGLAS

So I was also told by my friend Doug about acid washing the driveway? anyone have any links.....I suppose I will go google it now.......
Dude, I would have told her to get her ass back in the kicten and to bake me some pie. I owuld tell her the driveway is mine, I will piss on it or do what ever else I want to on it anytime I want ... then I would tell her to clean it up if she had a problem with it .... that's what I would do if I were you, anyways.

92 ... dude ... you've still got so unbelievably much to learn about women.

Women rule the world. Men think that they can do what they want, but the women in their lives hold the ultimate control over them. Don't forget that. Or you will spend your whole life sleeping alone or with blow-up dolls.

Jim take note that notch never said he would do it. Just that if he was someone else he'd do it.
