So what killed the mouse, are there more in there, and why is there a web around this stinky, dead mouse???

Be careful there Chaos, this may be an
Arachnocruisergluttonious spider.

This rare spider tends to gorge themselves on chrome and enamel, and often have been known to trap and kill mice so they can wear there skin to sneak into garages easier. They have evolved over the years to where they realize people will step on spiders, but run from mice, so they can ensure a safe getaway if spotted.

Be afraid, be very afraid.

Just do what I would do, send the kid out to take care of them! That's the reason we have kids...to do the stuff we don't want to!

Cap off one end and throw a stick of M80 in there. Whatever that's in there is guaranteed to be dead after the M80 treatment.

Default Mouse is gone

I checked the ol' exhaust today to take a picture for y'all. The smelly dead mouse is gone. But is the killer spider still there????

I don't have kids so we'll never know (until I get drunk enough to explore and not care)

Awww cut it out already!

Pick that thing up and give it a good shake...you'll be fine.

It's bulk pickup today...it's something the town provides for homeowners to throw out the large stuff that wouldn't fit in a garbage can...like TV's & fridges.

I had to pick up and throw away a swing set I took apart last year. It had been sitting way in the back of my yard...on the border where the "woods" are.

Dude, I had snakes, mice, spiders, and little ugly armored beetles all over the place. The mice & snakes would just come out of the supports as I up ended them...except for one.

I must have grabbed this one from the wrong end...because as I'm looking on the ground for the little treasures coming out of the support tube...this 3 foot snake comes writhing out of the top...onto my arm.

I guess it startled me...all I heard was this loud noise. Come to find that was me...screaming like a woman.

Anyone else lazy like me and just left your old pipes outside only to become a morgue (or habitat)?
Since no one really answered your question, i'll give it a shot. Stored a dirtbike and a lawn tractor in a shed in a rural area. When i went to crank em up again, well the mouse that was in my air filter of the dirtbike went for a wild ride when he got shot out of the pipe. The other mouse in the tractor probably died with a serious headache after being spun around in the engine (like on the top of a lawn mower, under the little mess screen). I would think that the mouse died first and then the spider was probably just snacking.

But i do like the flame thrower idea to clean those puppies out.

I mentioned the film "Snakes on a Plane" to a colleague of mine ... he and I were of the same opinion: Bulldroppings.

Lets say you are on a plane, and a bunch of cold-blooded reptiles get loose. All the pilot has to do is drop the oxygen masks and depressurize the plane. The snakes all die in a matter of minutes. Or just turn off the heaters and let the cabin temperature drop down near freezing - the snakes (being cold-blooded) won't be able to move anymore.

If you are going to create a "thriller" film ... at least the premise should be a BIT realistic ...

Inspiron - You are right. I saw the ads for that movie...soooooo stupid!!! I can't believe Samuel Jackson even bothered with it.

At least make a scary movie like "Snakes and Exhaust Pipes" Ahhhhhh Now that's S-C-A-R-Y!!

SLJ, talking to his agent:

"Now, you gotta be bull****tin' me. I wouldn't touch that script with a 10 foot pole. C'mon, I'm a serious actor. You MUST have something better up your sleeve. ... " [about 30 seconds later] " ... They're going to pay HOW MUCH? Are you serious? ... Where do I sign?"
