Default test ride on a 06 C50T

Hi

i test rode the c50t today at Blackfoot Motorcycles in Calgary Alberta

i ride a honda VTX1300 and was test riding the bike for my girlfriend

She is a novice rider who just passed the MSF course
and who is also the proud new owner of a c50t
her first bike ,purchased yesterday moments after i arrived back from the test ride, bike will be ready for pickup Wednesday

After a 35 minute ride these are my thoughts

its a great bike

shifts much smoother than my VTX

the seat was comfy ,although anything is better than the stock seat on the VTX

the bike was easy to handle and took all bumps and rough road a lot
better and smoother than my VTX

and just like my VTX, at 70 -75 MPH i was looking for a sixth gear

the only draw back , the throttle grip does not extend to the end of the handle bars, i am sure this is an easy fix, what grips are available
to correct this situation on the c50t?

she has been offered a straight up trade for some Vane and Hines pipes
for her stock exhaust , does anyone else have these pipes on their
c50t and did you have to re map the EFI to do this conversion

thanks
enjoy the ride
