Default The wind changed my mind

After almost 200 miles under my belt I thought about getting on the interstate here in Hampton Roads, Va. So I decided to get warmed up and ride up and down the main streets first. Next thing I know my bike is pulling to the left and it feels as if my tires are covered in oil or something slick. After about 10 minutes of that I decided the wind is bolder than I am and I need a lil more practice riding in the wind before I take on Road Rage alley, which is what I-64 becomes during rush hour. Maybe on Saturday or Sunday I'll work up the nerve to do it. I still don't have my license yet I have to wait until June before I'm eligible to take the ridden course. Should I wait or should I go for it?

Relax! Do the neighborhood thing now. Just get in the habit of riding slow first. Taking the MSf course is a good thing. Actually, you don't want to learn any bad habits now. I would just do the neighborhood, empty parking lots for now. Just learn how the bike responds going slow.

Yeah my wife doesn't want me to either and since I have to think about it for a whole day then it's not worth risking I think. Besides my B-day is tommorrow and I want to enjoy it

Once I take the DMV test and pass it I hope I'll be able to drive to the military base and take the MSF course they offer for free, until then I probably want build up the nerve to get on the interstate which is probably a good thing for me and them.
