If it bothers you that much . . . look on E-Bay. I'm sure someone has a toolkit for sale. Many folks remove them, thinking they won't ever need them. If that doesn't work, go to Wal-Mart and buy some cheap tools. Stash 'em under the seat. There should be room!

This is getting totally rediculous.

Ever considered getting a new girlfriend? My wife's smarter than me by a long shot.
Thank you so much for saying that. Some of us are capable of learning and doing a thing or two! I learned how to ride without dropping my bike. Then I went to the MSF course, and learned how to do it right. Still didn't drop the bike, either, and I did the drills all-out. The women who did drop them, typically had confidence problems, and I'll bet many guys, though perhaps well-intentioned, don't help that situation at all, with their nervousness, or their attitude when trying to teach. I'm sure glad I had a Dad (and now a husband) who assumes I can learn to do anything. Yeah, I might make mistakes. But I am trainable.

I am also smart enough to know I should never try to teach anyone how to ride. There are people infinitely more qualified than me to do that. Though I am teaching my daughter (by example) to dress and ride safely, so that's something. I think she'll be pretty trainable, too. Of course, that would assume she has a competent instructor....
