It Didn't Hurt physically actually .. I mentioned before I was 3 mph ... It just slipped and went down under my feet.. .. It was a humbling Experience.. telling me to take things seriously..

I rode to the next town with my Bandit tonight to the shop where I'll do my winter mods. The roads are mostly melted off, but what did melt refroze so there are many slick spots. I'm glad to say I survived.

LOL. I'd be riding if it was that warm and the ice was off the roads.

You kidding!!!!! 38 is warm weather this time of year here.
In fact it was 28 this morning when I rode to work, just had to bundle up, by time I went home it had warmed to about 60.

Yeah, it was about 34°F here (but dry) while I rode in this morning! It's in the high 50°s now, so the ride home will be nice.

34 degrees is d**n cold here. It was about 65 this morning on the ride in and currently in the mid 80's. The fun this morning came from the fog. Could only see about 200 feet ahead. But the good weather will be going away for a day or two. They are calling for it to get into the low 40's Saturday and Sunday night.

The roads were really clean except in few spots ther was some patches of snow.
Gee, I now realize that motorcycle is a rear wheel drive !
On snow motorcycle really acts weird ..
So I rode it and came back unscratched first time. But I took it out second time as well and while just 10 meters away from my garage, just 10 meters away, it slipped and went down under me at 3 miles per hour

What was worse: There was some one behind me and ....
He saw me .

Not to mention I picked it up and started (it started !!) and rode the remaining 10 meters with my pride still left on the floor ...

Thank God No scratches on me or the Bike.
"Runners high" bame it on those endorphins Nice to see another runner/rider. After a good run I can be pumped for a couple of hours. Here's an article that might be an interesting read for you.

There must be a reason Snowmobile starts with the word "Snow"

Its tricky work, my friends.

Unfortunatly I can beat the 3 mph stories... I recently got my bike, and had been a bit worried at first about the weight. Turns out it wasn't such a big deal to handle. Then I was stopped in the garage, went to set it down and just then realized i hadn't put the kickstand all the way down. It slipped up and I went down trying to catch it. Would have been a scratch on it if there hadn't been a router table there. Got a small scrape just behind the pass seat. Everything else was fine.
