| Just bought my first bike on Wednesday. I had riden my friends numerous times but need my own. I drove my Intruder800 50 miles home from the deeler and then had a mental flop! I took the MSF safty class and was trying to remember everything that I had learned. When I parked the bike to show it off to my friends I turned off the gas. Latter that afternoon I take her back out for a spin. About 2 blocks down, no power and sure enouf I had no clue were the gas valve was. The moral of the story is... learn were your gas valve is so it can be accessed at all times. Needless to say this event has not repeated in the past 2 days |

| You need to be able to grab it and turn on the reserve when the main fule supply leaves you sputtering close to empty.
