You've got it right, but your closing tag is missing a slash: [/img]

For a thumbnail you have to embed the image tag inside the url tag, with the thumbnail address in the image tag and the large image address in the url tag: {url=http://...}{img}http://...{/img}{/url}

Click 'edit' on the above post to see what it all looks like.

Why not just use the image and link buttons in the toolbar, or better yet, the upload feature?

Folks! Don't forget to you can now take advantage of the Photo Gallery we have here!

To have an image from your gallery show up in your post you do like this:
1- Upload picture to your album in the gallery
2- Right-click and do "Copy image location" in FireFox (Right click "Properties in IE).
3- Use the [IMG] [/IMG] tags to display your image(s) in your post.

Example:

[IMG]http://www.motorcycle-journal.com/photopost/data/519/medium/DSCN9805.JPG[/IMG]

gives this magnificent result:

I was trying to shrink the image. In photobucket, I first resized to bulletin board size. Then I tried avatar size. The picture keeps posting large size.
