wookie, your Japanese seems excellent! Try this one - 夕方 今朝 毎朝
One of my working buddies in the U.S. has these Kanji characters (my calligraphy) tattooed on his left arm. He showed that to his boss when the boss said something he didn't like.

Hey you guys, have you ever tried to translate from English to another language by a translation tool, then copy and paste the translated text back to English again. Just could not stop laughing.

i've never tried that. i've had enough moments with just the one translation that if i saw it go back again, i'd lose all hope for mankind.

so... got examples?

Wow! traffic was very heavy - thought it would take forever till my post goes out.
Yup, a Google tool did it:

it rains cats and dogs ---> 猫および犬を雨が降る ---> The cat and the dog the rain falls

Try your own text, that will make you laugh

Samurai, I tried that too with "the spirit is strong but the flesh is weak".
Guess what I got?!

"The vodka is strong but the meat is rotten".

Crazy translation!
Which is why you need a human translator still.
(Yup, used to be a simultaneous interpreter)

mmm, sushi and sashimi.

ya know, i was in japan for TWO FREAKIN' MONTHS, but the only words i learned were "yes", "no", "thank you", "good morning", "good evening"... um... "cheers". let's see. "how are you?" ya, i think that's pretty well it. talk about crap! that's what i get for hanging out with my friend who teaches english all day long in his school (6 days a week), speaks english to his japanese wife, speaks english to his kids, etc. the only japanese spoken in that household was the kids to the grandparents, and that was only maybe an hour in the evening during dinner.

oy, i gotta get around to learning it on my own.
