Default Exhaust

Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone knows what Yosh slip on exhaust I can put on my 06 Sv650s. I know they make a version for the 04-05 and was wondering if anyone has used this and it has worked on the 06. If anyone has any other suggestions besides Yosh, please let me know. I am taking pictures and will send them once I put on my lower fairing. Thanks everyone for you help

I do not believe there's a difference in '06 compared to to '05 but don't take my word for it.

dont think there is any diff in the model years you are asking about. i reallt like the D&D pipes i have on my 1000s. they are really loud, so i guess your choice of pipes really depends on what you are trying to get out of them? performance? sound? i think its all a matter of personal preference. anything other than the stock cans are a definate improvement!

I've been looking at pipes to. I'm leaning towards the Yosh pipes. The notes under the yosh slip ons is that cutting of the stock pipe is needed. Has anyone done this themselves? And how easy or hard is it?

You can cut the stock pipe off in less then 10min with a hacksaw and new metal cutting blade, even faster with a saw-zaw. Either way just protect the swingarm from the blade when your cutting. Also you may want to turn the engine over a few times after cutting to blow out shavings and bits before mouting your slip on.

I put a scorpion on my buddy's old '00/'01 sv650. It sounded very good. I've got a full M4 setup on my TLS, which also sounds very good.

Most of the twins sound pretty similar I believe, just noise levels differ.
