| Greetings from CO, I'm still working to put a GN400 "thumper" back into running condition after some 13 years of storage and I wondered two things..... I want to remove the cumbersome airbox and it's thick foam filter and replace it with either a K&N that will fit inside the box OR a totally new clamp-on type. Will this drastically alter the air flow to the point that I will need to rejet the CV Mikuni BS36SS and if so, how much larger will I need to go? Secondly, as Mikuni no longer makes this carb and parts are getting hard to find, is ther another carb that will work on this bike? Thanks for the help! WilleyG |
