|  97 Marauder not running
Well I cannot get this 1997 suzuki marauder running. Its been in storage for 2 years and no doubtely all gummed up. My knowledge of carbs is limited but yesterday I removed both carbs, removed the float bowls, floats, needle valves, and jets and cleaned them all thoroughly with carb cleaner. Replaced gaskets and reassembled. Put new gas in and new spark plugs spaced to .8. The bike still will not. I didnt dive into cleaning the carb top valve etc as I didnt know how complex it would be once I removed it. Do you think this will be necessary, or is something else going on that might be causing the bike not to fire up? Any information would be appreciated. I just checked the float bowls, The rear carb float is draining when the float screw is unscrewed but Nothing came out of the front carb, what does that exactly mean? |
