Default Need Manual! - 750 Intruder

Im buying a 1988 750 Intruder for my first bike. It has 10,000 miles, and has been sitting in a garage for 3 years untouched. The mechanic said it would cost around 500 dollars to get a new battery installed carbs fixed, oil changed, cleaned out. Right now it wont start and needs some good tlc. Carbs need some work.

I am completely inexperienced mechanically, but ive got the summer to get this thing up and running in tip top shape. Im gonna try my best to do this and could definitely use a manual.

Anyone know where I can get a repair manual for a 1988 750 Intruder?

Also, if u have any tips on the repair as in tools, techniques and so forth let me know.

Thank you.

Get the Clymer manual for the Intruder- it will show you everything you need to know, and is easier for the novice to follow than the factory manual. Just doa google search.

Check out the intruderalert.com forums for specific issues too. A lot of active Intruder folks over there.
