MUffler for GZ250

I just purchased a 2008 GZ250 and am wanting to put a louder muffler on it. The pipe is 1 3/4 inch and the muffler is 20 inches long. Do they make an aftermarket that will just bolt on, or will I be able to this.

First, look carefully at how the pipes are put together. The muffler is WELDED to the exhaust pipe. Cutting that apart is more than most people want to tackle.

Second (and maybe more important) is that you have a small, single cylinder bike (thumper). It isn't much more than a large lawnmower engine. No matter what you do, that's pretty much what it's going to sound like.......a loud lawn mower !!

If you wanted something that will growl like a "big" bike, you got the wrong thing.

Oh and Third: If you mess with the air-in/air-out, then the jets in the carb. will probably need attention too.
