| Newbe Needs help on a Suzuki gs650 L1982 Problem 1 – The fuel valve has a prime position to let gas flow . Problem is that it does not flow. I took it apart at the lever and found that it is composed of the lever control . Behind that is a plastic cone that controls the gas flow. Behind that is a flat looking spring that when you turn the control lever to prime, it is to push the spring device which is bent with a 90 degree angle into the diaphragm to permit gas to flow. I need a picture of this spring device to get the proper bends to make it work. Or to get a replacement spring device that is properly bent. I tried it the first time and the gas was flowing continuously. I tried it the second time and then there were no prime at all. I need assistance – please! Needs help on a Suzuki gs650 L1982 Any easy fix – I have oil coming out of the head gasket and I really do not want to take the engine apart to stop the oil leak. Besides the point – I do not know how. Needs help on a Suzuki gs650 L1982 Problem with the 4 carburetors I have rebuilt/cleaned the 4 carburetors 2 times and I still have only an idle plus when I try to ride it and give it gas, it dies out. I have been reading and noticing that they are mentioning an o ring on the needle valve, but I did not see it. Where is it? I have removed the pilot jet , the needle jet, the main jet and cleaned the blew them out. On the pilot jet, how do you make sure that you have the tiny hole perfectly cleaned out? What type of tool can I use? I also found that the needle and seat were totally stuck together so I soaked them in carb cleaner and was able to remove them and clean them. But again it does not run properly at all. Help!! Any ideas?? .mel melalice2002@yahoo.com |
