| Hey all, New to the forums here and hoping someone could possibly help me out with a question or two i have about a bike i picked up a year or so ago. I am located in Canada and figure that might have something to do with why I can't find much that corresponds with the numbers on the side of the bike that read "GS 750-E" I have punched this in with Suzuki in countless combinations and have come up with nothign that resembles the bike I have. This week I will have a chance to get the VIN number and will try to figure out a couple of things. It is apparently an '84 or '85 and has a farring. The GS750-E's I have seen are from earlier years and are more of a cruising bike than sport. This might also be a distinguishing factor. The rear brake is a "full floater system" Anyways, I am trying to locate a manual for this bike or something close to it so I can start ordering a few parts that I need to get it up and running. Thanks for all and any help. Snider |

| This is the bike that I believe I had in Australia in the early 80's. We called it a GSX 750. The E was the year model. It had the 750cc 4 valve twin overhead cam engine. Basically an earlier version of the motor used in the Bandit 1200. Twin discs on the front with a single disc on the back. I bought a 2001 1200 Bandit S because it reminded me of my old 750cc bike. Bikini fairing, touring bars, and the larger optional tank. I did a 14 hour ride from Canberra ACT to Brisbane QLD on that bike. Maybe a search for Suzuki GSX 750 might help. After this model they came out with the Katana 750 and 1100 models. Butt ugly things they were. Your model would have been the last of the traditional twin shocks on the back. Mono shock after that. This engine was the basis for the GSX R models. Best of luck with the bike.

| Back again. Try these addresses for info. The E model it says is a 1981 model. The picture shows a naked bike but it is the same with the bikini fairing. Hope it helps. Suzuki motorcycles.
