Default suzuki intruder and k@n air filters

well im looking for some new air filters for my intruder but i was wondering if K@N made an air filter for a 93 suzuki intruder 800? and if so would i have to rejet after i put it on? and lastly where is a cheap online place to get em???

No, K&N does not make a drop-in replacement air filter for the VS800. You could remove the air boxes and use the universal K&N pod filters, but if you do this you will need to rejet, re-route a bunch of electrical wires, and relocate several things that are mounted on the air boxes. I performed this mod to one of my Intruder 800s, only to find that there was no performance gain and that the bike ran poorly in bad weather. So I wouldn't recommend it.

well i noticed the stock filters are kinda pricey! dident think they would be that much but they could use a changing im sure.

Yup, $48 for the pair is a little steep. But they last for a good long time if you pull them every year and clean them off with a soft brush and blow them out with some compressed air (not too high of a PSI though).
