| WTH, just got it out of storage, went to start it, all was well, then after 5 minutes of idle, the FI light came on, then about 5 minutes later, the RPM's go all the way like it is WOT but the throttle linkage is not broken, eveything works fine but the dam throttle somehow sticks at WOT when started. Could it be bad injectors since the bike sat for 6 months? Any tips, warranty ran out last month, so go figure? I disconnected the battery, changed the oil, filled it with Super unleaded, and added fuel stabalizer when I put it in storage. This blows! BTW, the bike is going back in storage for 5 more months!

| Can't be injectors. The throttle must be open for it to rev that high. Do the throttle plates stay open all the time? These bikes have positive return cables (the second cable), so you should be able to turn the throttle closed manually unless something is jammed.

| Not sure, everything from the throttle to the cable seems to be working fine. Not sure what you mean by throttle plates? The throttle seems to be working fine, but the minute I start it, it goes WOT, and I even play with the throttle and nothing seems to make the RPM's go down to idle! I even looked at the throttle housing under the tank and it appears to work properly as well. Bike is fairly new, 905 miles! Could it be the ECU since I disconnected the battery? Not sure, but I don't wanna pay someone $ to tell me something simple either. Might have to though! I did plug the airbox up with an oily rag, but I made sure I took it out before I started it. As you can see I am a newbie about this!

| Like I said, the throttle plates have to be open. Look in the throttle body area for evidence of their positions. I'm not talking about the throttle control, on the handlebar, but the throttles themselves. You should be able to see the pulley on the side or the actual plates moving if you remove the airbox. I'm not familiar with your specific bike, but this is fairly standard stuff. You can see them inside the circular top openings: Ron Ayers Motorsports - Discount Motorcycle Parts

| I see the throttle pulleys under the tank and I had my wife turn the throttle up and down and the plates seem to open and close fine, hmmmmmmmmm!

| Putting it back into storage today, guess it will sit until I pull it out for good in 5 more months,

| Good luck. Want me to store that bike? I'll shine it up and take real good care of it for you. It's the least I can do.

| Well I'm back from Korea, going to try and start it again. Dealer wants $45 to pick the bike up and wants $84 an hour! I'll let you know the outcome!

| LOL, well had it taken into a reputable bike shop and they found an oily rag in the intake area, oops, guess I forgot to take that one rag out, lol! Hard lesson learned as I paid $25 for the tow and about $150 in labor, Runs like a champ now,
