|  Searching for bikes....
Hi! New to posting here, Just registered though I have been reading the great post and information provided here. Well, today I finally got to go bike shopping. More or less to sit on a few and see how they feel. So far.. Tried Gixxer 600, SV650, GS500F, and V-Storm 650. Gixxer 600... Pricey, Definatly not something I would ride. Looking more upright. Nothing too fancy. Still, nice looking bike none the less ( not knocking it at all ) SV650... Pretty decent bike. Very clean looking. Just felt Heavy ( though lighter then most of the bikes I tried today. Salesmen had one that he bought a while back and loved it. So I gave it a shot. V-Storm... HUGE bike.. It was a different experience all the way around. Windshiled of the bike was taller then my wife! lol. Just tried it out for the fun of it. GS500F... Nice all around bike. Very clean looking, Felt nice. Didn't feel as heavy as the SV650 ( Could just be me though ) although it weighs about 30lbs more ( Give or take ) Hear there pretty decent all around bikes. Looking for opinions on that one. I'm new to riding. Getting set in the next month for MSF class ( Hopefully ) so I can learn to ride ( Plus have a friend who's gonna take time to teach me on his old Dirtbike ( CR125 ) On the neighborhood streets hehehe. Just generally looking for a all around good bike to tool back and forth to work ( About 30 miles round trip ) Occasional longer rides of 45+ minutes or longer... ( nothing too crazy ) and just some all around fun. Not doing stunting or racing. So there is some back ground on me and what I have planned so far. Thanks for "Listening" |
