| I have a Suzuki Katana GSX600 and when i was leaving work one day I accidently poped the gear and ended up laying down the bike. After about driving down the road for about 3 miles the bike cut off. After my brother jumped the battery it ran fine for about a couple feet then cut off again. I tryed another motorcycle battery and the same problem again. Has anyone experienced this problem or know whats wrong with my bike?

| Can you describe the damage and the crash? We need some place to start. I'm wondering about the condition of any wiring, your fuel petcock and the handlebar or sidestand switches. Welcome to the forum.

| no damage what so ever, i wasn't even going 3mph. After a couple miles after i droped it, the bikes gages started to not work then a couple miles later the bike cut off. i tried to restart and it wouldn't turn over. When i jump it, it will run and the gages will work for a min or two and then the bike will die again.

| You didn't tell us what year it is or how many miles are on it. Sounds like the battery's not recieving a charge. Stop by an auto electric shop or Batteries Plus for a test of your generator.
