| Has anyone here ever had or know anything about the RF 900. I am thinking about getting one as my ssecond bike. I currently have an 05 M50 and want to try a sport/touring bike as well. Any input or information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

| Kickstand Operator ![]() | No nibbles thus far? fair enough. I've been thinking about getting one of these when i can afford it in a few months, definately a tempting prospect to buy. Seems to have all the things i want/need, oh and mates who have ridden them say they are a really nice bike to ride. Just make sure you get a 96+ model, as that's when the fully adjustable front end was introduced. |

| I saw a 600 parked today. Good looking bike, but I don't know anything about them.

| All I know is I saw one on ebay a year ago that was basically brand new (except it was a '94) for $4800 and I DIDN'T go for it and I am kicking myself! I love the look of the bike. It seems to me it's the best of all worlds cuz it will do just about everything well...I'm also dying to get an M50, so I'm jealous. Good luck. Jim |

| Kickstand Operator ![]() | well i managed to pick one up fairly cheaply just over a month ago now, they cost about $5500-6500AUD and i got it for $4500Aud as the guy had been trying to sell it for a long time (12+months). left hand view, right hand view, front view, mind you i've removed most of the chequering as that was just butt ugly and probably one of the reasons he had such a hard time shifting the bike. It's a hell of a different bike to my old gpx750 (ZX750F series for the americans in here) in a lot of aspects, am i glad i got it? hell yes. |

| Mike: That is one cool looking bike! Congrats! The checkered stuff looks kinda neat to me--I like something that's not run of the mill. But would I have it on my bike? I don't think so either. Weird thing is my nephew visited me this weekend and he's been into Ninja 500's for a long time. Then he started yapping about the RF!! Not a lot of people actually know anything about them but I have always had a soft spot for the things. Take care. Jim |
