|  Help With ts185
I have bought a 1982 ts185 for $500 AUS and am picking it up on thursday. It has new piston rings, seat and batter, runs well and starts first kick. The only problem is, well this is what the current owner said is that it needs a new rectifier as the battery isn't recharching. I understand that this is what charges the battery and controls it so it doesn't over charge etc. I'm a fair newbie so please be nice with the language lol. Any insight please welcome? I have emailed a supplier and it will cost about $35 to get a new rectifier sent to me. Is it difficult to install? I'm looking forward to riding it as it has been given huge wraps on this forum and others. Thanks in advance, Marcus |
