Talking newbie, savage 650 exhaust
I want to go straight pipes on my ls650. Hard part is that I can't find anyplace that offers them. I want to do it for looks mainly. I hate the look of that HUGE muffler body sittin on a nice clean bike. Secondly, I know there are performance benefits to doing straight pipes. If there are straight pipes for my bike, what do I have to do to when putting them on? I heard someone say something a while back about rejet my carb. What does that entail? Beyond that what possibly am I looking at as far as the sound of straight pipes versus muffler? I have never seen this on a smaller style bike before and I'm eager to learn more about it. any help in this area will be greatly appriciated.
