Default New rider needing help

Last year i took the motorcycle training course and received my license. Unfortunately i didnt get the oppurtunity to ride last year. This year i found a 1994 GS 500 E nicely priced that im going to look into acquiring. I like the way sports bike looks and this looks like it's a standard bike. I want it to look more like
this:

instead of this:

Any information on how i would be able to get this transformation done and what you think estimated cost for parts is.

Bah. Plastic doesn't make it ride better. How about just appreciating the mechanical beauty of a naked bike and riding it?

If you insist, they look like virtually identical bikes so you could probably buy aftermarket fairings and all the associated hardware (including the headlight ***'y) and bolt it on. Then you can replace it like half of new riders do when you tip 'er over.
