Default Taking The B-King for Track Test

I bought a "USED" B-King with 248 miles for $10,800 with an extended 4 year warranty. What a bargain huh? Picked it up from a 52 year old who thought it was wayyy too much for a 10 mile commuter bike

I never liked the BKing and said to myself would love to ride one but will never buy My wife asked if I really needed another bike. (I have 8 now)

My first order of business was to rid the unsightly rear tail and replace it with a Yosh carbon exhaust and Yosh fender eliminator kit. Just added an Ermax front fly screen today. Also got rid of the stock intake/turn signal cowl and replace it with a full carbon fiber Power Bronze intake shroud. These minor mods really cleaned up the dorky toy look IMO

I'm not new to big power so I wasn't expecting much from the BKing - until I rode it like I ride my 190hp ZX14. The power impressed me ALOT! Handling was impressive as well - spent the first hour cutting through some backroad twisties. It doesn't take much to spin up that fat rear tire.

The BKing will be christened on the race track on 1 September - to find it's real limits of spirited performance

Here's some pics of the after look to include a cool windscreen I plan to buy from Japan, also what the stock muffler looks like. You'd be surprised what's inside that big rectangular hunk of metal

Stock exhaust cut open somebody with minor skills can have a nice looking stainless steel dual pipe setup

What the Bking looks like with the aftermarket windscreen

After pics (before the Ermax flyscreen and the Yosh fender eliminator)

Looks good! Mine is still stock, but pipes are on the short list of mods to do. I may go with the 2 Bros setup as it comes with the tail tidy included.

I thought that might be it, but it looked so small that I wasn't sure.

I'll have to check one out at the local Honda dealer, nothing wrong with small if it's bright enough.

I sure does clean up the back of the bike nice.

I too had to look twice before I realized it was something on the floor on the other side of the bike.

He hasn't been logged in here since August. Guess the track day didn't go well, lol.

A B-King at a track day is like a bull in a china shop. I do hope that the reason he has not logged on is because the track day did not go well.

I presume you weren't around in the late 70's early 80's then?
