| I have noticed a rather strange phenomenon. While I have experienced a great deal of mixed reactions regarding the Bee's appearance from males, it just dawned on me that not one woman who has seen mine has said anything other than they thought it was gorgeous. I keep my Bee parked next to my lab inside my company's rather large main warehouse. As such it is seen by virtually every employee who comes to work each day. While even the males that didn't like how it looked were politely "diplomatic" about expressing their reservations, the ladies have all been very enthusiastic about its appearance. What brought this to my attention was the fact that one lady, who is well-known to be from a Harley family, actually went out of her way to find me to tell me how "sexy" she thought the bike was! She made a point of letting me know that she normally only likes "American Iron" but, for some reason, she found the Bee an exception. So much so that she "looked it up" on the internet to read its specifications. So I ask you, is the Bee the ultimate "chick magnet" or is it just that all the ladies in my company have bad taste? Ahh...if I were just 20 years younger! B-Rex |

| Plucked one ![]() | I've never gotten a negative comment about my bike. Where i park though there's mainly goldwings, harleys and other bikes a lot more expensive than mine which is fine by me. One guy rides a busa. One of the girls from work wants to have a ride on it once its nice out.. She's got her own gear so i think i'll allow it... too bad she had to ask her husband if it was ok or not

| They see it for what it is, a big fast machine. One that can give them freedom, carring away all that troubles them. You that annoying biker guy.

| I have been blessed to be married to a woman that is a motor head. My wife also rides and rides a Bandit 1200S. Well back in 1999 when I was drag racing my V Max, I and my wife watched two black Hayabusa's run in the 9s at the strip. I told my wife then I would some day like to own a good used Busa. Well a few months later we stopped at the cycle shop owned by a friend not far from my home. The weather was cold snow was starting to fly and the riding season had ended. We were looking to kill some time and dream of an early spring looking at bikes and parts. I was looking at helmets and wife was visiting with the owner near his office. The owner of the shop walked up to me in each hand he had a picture of a Hayabusa from the dealer's sales book. One busa was red and silver the other picture was a busa in blue and white. He asked me which color did I like the best? I looked and told him I thought the red and silver was the best looking one. He handed me the page with the red and silver and told me that I might as well keep the page. I asked him why and he told me my wife had ordered my Busa and all they wanted to know was the color to order! He said they were only getting in one of each so there was no need to hold onto the page for his book. I still own that 2000 Busa. Flash forward to December of 2007 my wife and I were out looking for something to do together. Because of our work is not common for us to have the same day off together. Sue asked me if I wanted to go look at the B-King at a cycle shop about 50 miles from home. I was surprised I had not been pushing for a B-King or even to look at one. I had shown my wife a picture of the B-King in in a cycle magazine some time in the fall and told her I thought it was sharp looking. I told her that it would be a nice ride and we could do lunch in the town near the shop. We walked into the shop and in the middle of the floor was the King, all black and sinister looking. It reminded me of my old friend, my 1992 V Max only on steroids. The old V Maxer in me went nuts, my wife loved the looks of the B-King. We spent a good half hour walking around it looking at it, talking about its looks. I never sat on the bike but I did say some day with luck I would like to get one. We were approached by the dealer and we told him we were just looking we were not in the market to buy. Well in January I stopped at my friends shop just to kill time and I told him of the B-King in the other shop. I was told they had only one ordered an all black one and it was due to arrive any time. Still thinking a new cycle would be out of the question all I had to say was some day. He told me I could trade in my Busa and work out a deal. I told him that I was going to keep the Busa because it was one of the few unrestricted Busa's with the 220 mph speedometer. After 2000 all Busa's were speed governed to 185mph from the factory and that was all the speedometers would read to was 185mph. I went home and had dinner with Sue. At dinner the talk went to the how was your day and what did you do today. I told Sue about my day and the stopping at the shop and the talk of the all black B-King that was due to arrive. Sue then surprised me with "get on the phone and call them and tell them to put the B-King in your name" You could have knocked me off the chair with a feather! I now own a Busa and a B-King! Sue loves the B-King and thinks its a thing of Beauty that screams of power. I have had a few friends that stop in say they thought it looked like a big transformer toy. Some guys like it and some don't. Its been snowing here and it cold so I have no miles on the bike and brought it home on a trailer. Will other women like the King? I have no idea if they will, it will be interesting to see now you talk of it. But if its true I guess we will just have to keep that one little thing about the bike our little secret! | Kay you are an oxymoron... You are so tiny yet there is so much of you to love.
