Assuming you're talking to me, I don't know for sure, but since I ride a B-King, I'm biased. If you are asking my opinion, my money will be on the B-King. To be honest, even if the Max was faster, I'd still buy a B-King and save $8000.

decent article in september edition of cycleworld. 197 hp in a 600lb frame if i remember correctly. not too shabby. it does look pretty tough. v-4 engines, though not very common have decent reputations for power and service.

Ok then.

That kind of talk always annoys me. Hearing/reading a lot because of the car I own and knowing full well it's complete

Not that I would ever own either. More motorcycle than I want. But they're both cool none the less.

Ironically, the exhaust is the only part of the B-King I don't like, lol.

http://www.motorcycle-journal.com/fo...rack-test.html

take a look at the exhaust setup bking1965 put on... it's pretty sweet

i'm sure when the vmaxs come out, someone will muck up with the exhaust and make it better too

Looking at pics of the B-King, I can't side if it looks more like an Alien (from the movies) or a Space Pirate (from the Metroid Prime games)...

It's the headlight that got me thinking along those lines. Plus I've been playing a lot of Metroid Prime 3...

Default Suzuki Bandit

You are right man the V-MAX (that's Mr. Max to you) looks awesome. Why is it no one mentions the Suzuki Bandit. It is a fine standard bike. With kick butt real world torque and almost 100 rear wheel hp. It is a great bike. I know it doesn't have Busa power but nonetheless a great all around bike that with Suzuki accessories can be a nice long distance sport tourer as well. I don't own one but i might buy an '09. We did start out talking about standards right? This is one standard bike with great all you need power.

The Bandit is competent and qualified scoot. We're talking over qualified road rockets here.

MD sure likes the new Vmax...
An interesting report that dispels the 'neutered' theory...
