Default The B-King and Dating Lady Pro Wrestlers

I've seen/heard a lot of comments about the B-King's looks. There is no doubt that the bike generates strong opinions about its appearance, both pro and con. I have to say that I think it's a gorgeous bike. I admit that things like its airboxes and flaring exhaust cans look very different than what I'm used to seeing on motorcycles. But different isn't always a bad thing.

I see a strong comparison between owning a B-King and having a female pro wrestler as a GF or a wife. Like a lady pro wrestler:

1) It's big
2) It's twin airboxes are huge, in your face....and made of plastic
3) Its curves and angles are exaggerated
4) Everywhere you go, people stare and point
5) Some people, males and females, think it's really hot
6) When riding, you have to hang-on for dear life when it gets revved up
7) Treat it with respect or you'll get your ass kicked

I actually bought it for less than MSRP. Though not for much less....I got $300 off the $12,899. I guess, psychologically, it made me feel better. Though I heard some dealers were trying to gouge customers with prices over $13,500!

You'll always have that with new toys; in big enough markets, they can get away with it.

Well even though he didn't give me much of a discount, I appreciated my dealer for not trying gouge me...especially since he only had one B-King when I bought mine. That's why I ride over 30 miles to patronize his place instead of the dealer that's just 2 miles from my house.

I see enough of that too.

There's a mech I prefer although he's a good 20 miles from me and I know there's at least two mechs closer by, but I'm rather leery of changing to somebody who recognizes my face from way back.

FINALLY, one other person here likes how it looks!!!

To be honest, I have tried to post a picture or two previously and it didn't work. I didn't spend much time messing with it but I got the impression I needed the pictures to be on a web page rather just jpeg files. I will look again and see what I need to do to post some pics.

I got it for $10,899. It's a small town store. Owner wants to get rid off it since its their biggest bike. I guess I got a good deal, even their clerk said so.
B-Rex, I don't know where you live but metro here in CHI town still asking for MSRP.. And it's almost May..

I finally got a chance to sit on the B-King a couple of days ago. The seat is a little tall for me but I could see myself riding one.
